Michael presently handles an exceptionally diverse caseload of general liability matters that vary in exposure from nominal to catastrophic levels. For him, the object is the same in every scenario - to provide counsel to clients that allows them to make informed, cost effective decisions.

Michael has independently handled all aspects of civil litigation, from drafting pleadings through trial, and has been recognized by his peers as a leader in the insurance defense industry, appearing on the New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for several years running. Since his admission to the Bar, a significant portion of his practice has been devoted to high profile legal proceedings featured prominently in the media, venued in both state and federal courts. Mr. Frittola has been selected for inclusion in the 2020 New York Super Lawyers.

Michael�s practice is focused on following areas:

premises liability;

liability arising under the NYS Labor Law;

motor vehicle liability, including cases involving tractor-trailers;

products liability;

professional liability;

wrongful death actions;

personal injury claims arising out of concerts/music festivals;

litigation arising out of flood/natural disasters;

catastrophic property damage claims (with emphasis on cause and origin investigations);

litigation arising out of commercial contracts, including construction contracts;

monitoring excess exposure cases for excess/umbrella insurers; and

supervising substantial document production projects.

Prior to attending law school, Michael worked for the New York State Legislature, as well as one of New York�s top government strategies firms. A Long Island native, he is an avid baseball fan, enjoys traveling and spends his free time outdoors.
