LSKD OBTAINS DEFENSE VERDICT IN PINEDA VS. BYRNE DAIRY
Alfredo Alvarado was retained through an ALFA partner to assist in the trial of this federal employment discrimination lawsuit based on a dairy driver’s claim that he was terminated on racial grounds rather than due to business considerations. After 7 days of trial in USDC/SDNY before U.S. Judge Vincent Briccetti, the jury returned a defense verdict and the Judge denied plaintiff’s motion to set it aside.
