Between August 1 through August 9, LSKD's Women's Initiative held a Back to School Bermuda Shorts Friday fundraiser to benefit the Elizabeth Coalition for the Homeless ("ECH").

The ECH's mission is "to help the homeless and near homeless by giving people the tools and support they need to live healthy, self-sufficient lives.” Every year ECH runs a camp and collects school supplies that are distributed to the campers and their families for the start of the school year.

We collected school supplies to donate as well as monetary donations, which were used to purchase additional school supplies.  The photos show all of the school supplies we provided to ECH, including backpacks, lunch boxes, binders, spiral notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons and paper to name a few.

These school supplies will help some kids in need start their school year with the tools they need to learn!
